And you shall love the Lord God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.  The second is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'  There is no other commandment greater than these.     Mark 12:30-31

  Meet our Staff

Meet Mike Wilson - Owner and CEO of Delmarva Performance and Repair. Following in the footsteps of his father/grandfather, he probably saw the undercarriage of a hood long before he learned to walk. As a young child (and when he wasn't racing junkyard golf carts with fellow employee Wade), Mike was always taking something apart to make it faster and stronger.  He earned an Associate of Applied Science in Automotive Technology from Delaware Technical Community College. Mike is a certified Automotive Technician in Engines, Electrical Systems, Powertrain, Brakes and Suspension as well as Air Conditioning/Heating. DPR was recently distinguished nationally as being Tech-Net Accredited for superior service to this community under his leadership.  Mike has a specialized interest and passion for tuning and performance... a good ol' Seaford boy who fell in love with a Delmar girl and this community a long time ago, his down to earth professionalism and automotive wisdom continue to be recognized both locally and on national platforms.   In his spare time, he loves to hunt, fish, spend time with his goats and horses and has coached everything from wrestling to soccer and t-ball.  He has a gift of giving from the Lord for his wife, children, and works hard everyday with amazing mentors discipling him to be the best boss, husband, father, and leader for our community.

Meet Bob Schuab -Technician at Delmarva Performance and Repair. Bob is a favorite of our DPR customers and has worked over 33 years in the auto service industry-well known in the area for his wealth of knowledge in all things automotive and one who would literally take the shirt off his back to help someone in need with a reservoir of compassion.  If you've ever heard us reference “calling in our Ace" to help solve an issue-he's the one, always willing to allow us to rack his brain for solutions over so many years!  Bob is an ASE Master Tech, a Chrysler Gold Certified Tech and has worked in the dealership world in all areas of service.  He has a gift of diaging tough electrical issues and the uncanny ability to easily convey with gentle understanding, repair solutions to others who may not be as familiar with automobiles.  In his spare time, he loves to ride his motorcycle, spend time with his granddaughter/new grandson and attends church at Allen Memorial.  We have always been so encouraged by his ability to see the good in what's to come, even despite losing a very special person in his life recently. A true leader, and "keeper of the shop", thanks Bob for being a witness to us all that there is still Hope in the midst of an unexpected storm.

Meet Matt White -Technician at Delmarva Performance and Repair.  When we think of Matt, the scripture comes to mind,  "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward.  It is the Lord Christ you are serving" from Colossians 3:23-24.  His thorough focus is unwavering and with over 15 years of experience as an automotive technician and a demeanor that keeps the entire shop uplifted, its no surprise that he is one of the last to leave every night.  He won't hesitate for a second to stay and help others clean up even after the busiest of days and we have watched him change tires for someone in the rain without so much as a complaint when the garage was packed-full.  If this doesn't tell you what kind of man he is, I don't know what more would.  Nicknamed "strong like a bull", a trustworthy humble heart filled with gratitude, warm smile and a familiar face to many, indeed one of the hardest workers we've ever met with an exemplary standard of keeping the families he serves safe and one we tell all of our new hires to emulate.  He is a true gift to this team... so please join us in welcoming Matt to our DPR family

Meet Blake Phillips-Oil Change Tech and Service Writer/Head of Administration at Delmarva Performance and Repair.  Blake graduated from Delaware State University with a Bachelors in Aviation.  Now, First Officer Commercial Airline Pilot, we were absolutely honored when Blake said he would be willing to take some time to help us out expanding during COVID. Willing when and where needed most, from demoing flooring, doing oil changes or offering support to our Service Writer up-front, he has handled even the most stressful and arduous of labor situations with tremendous poise (but hey, most pilots that land giant planes and are fathers of new twins would).

So humbly intelligent, extremely organized, efficient, and an incredible motivator with a dash of humor... he's always the grateful one, but we are truly thanking God for sending us Blake when He did. Lover of goat cheeses and his amazing wife Sara, be sure to welcome Blake to the family next time you see him!

Meet Kris Bell - Technician at Delmarva Performance and Repair.  After hours, personally took it upon himself to pick up a part for a customer (who happened to be a complete stranger/college student that needed to get back to school) after we had been waiting on that part all day... paid for it with his own money just because he knew he could help, and all without us knowing... Yes, this is how we met Kris Bell. Character goes a long way at DPR and we had already observed his always positive/dedicated attitude long before we even knew he had an automotive background, built his own beetle and an amazing 16 years of experience in repairing personal aircraft/welding. Simply put, this gem literally fell right into our DPR lap and it’s been unreal watching his compassion to do every in single thing he does with an unmatched desire for perfect precision for every single customer.  Undercover cat rescuer/nurturer... with a love of antiquing and making his wife Brittany and family so proud, be sure to welcome Kris the next time you see him to the family!

Meet Jordan Brown - Oil Change Tech at Delmarva Performance and Repair.  In January of this past year, this young man courageously walked through our door with a desire to be a “DPR Intern”.  We took him through a “moch interview process” and stalked his coaches and teachers to attest to his character and the #1 thing that resounded over and over again was “respectful young man”.  For 3 months he showed up on time, notified us with proper advance of when he would need off for exams, worked hard with even the most tedious of tasks... did every single thing we asked with honesty and professional maturity, while surviving the added pressures of COVID regiments/protocol and would go the extra mile in all he did (even when we gave him the choice not to), with that same respect.

Outside of also being respected by his peers, we noticed that unexplainable “DPR spark” that is rare to find-one that each member of our team uniquely and indescribably carries with them. (The same spark that our first Intern carried with him-whom later graduated automotive and is now considered by his veteran peers even of 30 years to be one of the best in the industry.)  We offered this young man an opportunity to train for 3 more additional months to see if he was “cut out for us” and “we cut out for him”.   And we can honestly say now 8 months later, this young man is a part of our DPR family and he knows it and we know it.

A disciplined boxer, lover of photography, worship and his church, it is with great honor that we ask you to please join us in welcoming our new official DPR Lube Tech, Jordan Brown!!!   Way to go Jordan. You earned it.

Meet Kennedy Wilson - COO of Delmarva Performance and Repair. A rare female Automotive Industry leader focused on women hospitality, Kennedy Keenan-Wilson graduated from Delmar High School and with the support of this community, received Congressional Nominations from President Joe Biden, Congressman Mike Castle, as well as Senator Tom Carper to the United States Naval, Air Force, Merchant Marine, Coast Guard and West Point Academies. She has completed internships with the Delaware Electric Cooperative and the International Association of Fire Chiefs.  Kennedy graduated as a Junior from George Mason University as a Distinguished Scholar Recipient, earning her degree in Government with a Concentration in American Politics and Minor in Communications while simultaneously being admitted into GMU's Master of Public Administration Homeland Security Program as one of their youngest candidates.  "There are no words to adequately describe my gratefulness to the Lord for allowing me the opportunity to glorify Him in loving my husband, teaching my children, serving my family, while working for and with this team.  Let it be for you, Lord."  -Kennedy

Meet Goose, our DPR Shop Dog.  We have yet to find a friend he hasn't made and you can often find him calming customers in stressful situations.  When he isn’t eating Rita’s, you’ll find him being spoiled by the entire team with pizza crusts on Fridays or laying next to Troy.  He's such a good boy.

When the good news about the kingdom has been preached all over the world and told to all nations, then the end will come.  Matthew 24:14  Its as simple as that.

It is our heart's cry to see the coming of our Lord, so in addition to supporting local sports teams, musical instruments for youth, our local heroes and other ministries; when our friends (and fellow mechanic family) said they were called to go, we wanted to send all we could with them to preach the Gospel in places where the name "Jesus" has never been heard.  Please continue to pray for this family and that the good news will bring salvation to women, men and children.

Welcome!
