502 North Bi-State Blvd. Delmar, DE 19940
And you shall love the Lord God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these. Mark 12:30-31
Meet our Staff
Meet Mike Wilson - Owner and CEO of Delmarva Performance and Repair. Following in the footsteps of his father/grandfather, he probably saw the undercarriage of a hood before he learned to walk. As a young child (and when he wasn't racing junkyard golf carts with Wade), Mike was always taking something apart to make it faster and stronger. He earned an Associate of Applied Science in Automotive Technology from Delaware Technical Community College. Mike is a certified Automotive Technician in Engines, Electrical Systems, Powertrain, Brakes and Suspension as well as Air Conditioning/Heating. DPR was recently distinguished nationally as being Tech-Net Accredited for superior service to this community under his leadership. Mike has a specialized interest and passion for tuning and performance... a good ol' Seaford boy who fell in love with a Delmar girl and this community a long time ago, his down to earth professionalism and automotive wisdom continue to be recognized both locally and on national platforms. In his spare time, he loves to hunt and fish and has coached everything from wrestling to soccer and t-ball. His greatest love is for the Lord, his wife, children and goats. Mike looks forward to serving you!
Meet Bob Schuab -Technician at Delmarva Performance and Repair. Bob is a favorite of our DPR customers and has worked over 33 years in the auto service industry, well-known in the area for his wealth of knowledge in all things automotive. If you've ever heard us reference “calling in our Ace" to help solve an issue-he's the one, always willing to allow us to rack his brain for solutions over the years! Bob is an ASE Master Tech, a Chrysler Gold Certified Tech and has worked in the dealership world in all areas of service. He has a gift of diaging tough issues and the uncanny ability to easily convey with compassion, repair solutions to others who may not be as familiar with automobiles. In his spare time, he loves to ride his motorcycle, spend time with his granddaughter/new grandson and attends church at Allen Memorial. We have always been so encouraged by his ability to see the good in what's to come, even despite losing a very special person in his life recently. A true leader, and "keeper of the shop", thanks Bob for being a witness to us all that there is still Hope in the midst of a storm.
Meet Troy Lambrose - Technician at Delmarva Performance and Repair.
"Working at DPR has been an awesome learning experience and I feel blessed that Mike and Kennedy were willing to give me a chance to learn and grow in such a positive Christian environment. Being a part of the DPR family has given me a sense of accomplishment and hope as I learn to live with Type 1 Diabetes. Thank you, Mike and Kennedy, for seeing my potential and allowing me this opportunity!!" - Troy
Troy wrote that quote years ago and we have been just as blessed, if not more. He's the kind of employee you could only hope for and truly an answered prayer. Troy started with us as an intern (noticeably working twice as hard as most people twice his age). He graduated from Del-Tech's Automotive Program certified as a Technician in Automotive Engine, Electrical Systems, Automotive Powertrain, and is certified in Automotive Brakes and Suspension as well as Automotive Air Conditioning/Heating while maintaining an extreme amount of focus to both work for DPR while simultaneously completing his intensive degree. He is often given huge responsibilities, and at times has been entrusted to run this business like his own and we can confidently say he has not only faithfully executed each one of these demands but excelled while doing so. He has an amazing family that everyone adores and we are already creating a position for him to be General Manager of someday. He loves golf, fishing and his beloved Shop Dog Goose who loves him just as much. He just married his beautiful wife CarolAnne but she was already family! Be sure to meet Troy next time you are at the shop! PS: he is still kicking diabetes butt!
Meet Steve Walmsley - Technician at Delmarva Performance and Repair. It is with great privilege and indeed an honor that we introduce and welcome to our DPR Team another amazing member and tremendous asset, Steven Walmsley! Solid as they come with an eye for precision, Steve has already been a leader in the automotive industry for over 27 years in bumper to bumper repairs, alignments, performance modifications and is an expert in motor swaps especially when it comes to Land Rover. When he’s not at the gym or on the ball field (GO YANKEES), you will find him chasing around his beloved pup Barkley or spending time with his family. We are so thankful for his dedication, tremendous work ethic, and vast amount of knowledge that will continue to set apart DPR as a premier leader within the automotive industry for excellent workmanship. If you see him around, be sure to introduce yourself because he sure is looking forward to meeting you and has been such a blessing to our shop in all that he does. Welcome to the family Steve!
Meet Matt White -Technician at Delmarva Performance and Repair. When we think of Matt, the scripture comes to mind, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving" from Colossians 3:23-24. His thorough focus is unwavering and with over 13 years of experience as an automotive technician and a demeanor that keeps the entire shop uplifted, its no surprise that he is one of the last to leave every night. He won't hesitate for a second to stay and help others clean up even after the busiest of days and we have watched him change tires for someone in the rain without so much as a complaint when the garage was packed-full. If this doesn't tell you what kind of man he is, I don't know what more would. Nicknamed "strong like a bull", a trustworthy humble heart filled with gratitude, warm smile and a familiar face to many, indeed one of the hardest workers we've ever met with an exemplary standard of keeping the families he serves safe. He is a true gift to this team... so please join us in welcoming Matt to our DPR family!
Meet Donna Keenan - Executive Admin Manager and Customer Care Consultant at Delmarva Performance and Repair. After nearly 30 years of serving this community in the capacity of Chief Flight Attendant and as a pioneer in the Costume and Wedding Gown Business, our beloved mother and mother-in-law has now locked arms with us to deliver the highest standard of customer care in the automotive industry. I'm sure we all can remember seeing lines from Costumes by Keenan stretched as far as the ol' IGA and we greatly cherish her wisdom on business, her amazing creativity, and determined work ethic. If you know her, than you already know she is probably one of the hardest workers you will ever meet and wouldn't hesitate for a second to give you the shirt off her back if you needed one. Most importantly, we look forward to having the love she shares in our midst, her constant bubbliness making us laugh, and her finally having the weekends and evenings off to just enjoy "life". Everyone, it is our great honor and joy to introduce to you our ray of sunshine, "Momma Donna".
Meet Wade Eskridge - Service Writer and Technician at Delmarva Performance and Repair. Leading the way in the very successful footprints of his parents, Wade Eskridge was the Head of Operations at Murray Motors. That is until recently when his parents decided to retire, closing a life-long chapter that paved the way for their family-a very well known legacy in the local automotive world and surrounding area. And we couldn’t be happier for them (OR US)! Note: Mr. Jesse unexpectedly passed away shortly after writing this as he embarked upon his retirement. What a legacy this man left for Wade and all of us at DPR and he is so deeply missed.
Wade has always been loyal family to DPR’s Mike Wilson and is as close as you get to twin brother when you consider the amount of time spent together on wrestling mats, in junkyards tinkering around or the amount of cars they have worked on/survived “testing their performance” (by God’s grace) together. He can build a computer or a car from ground up, has the wisdom to locate and retrieve the highest quality/affordable parts out there, with the automotive head knowledge of over 17 years that money just can’t buy.
We've already seen the tremendous impact he's made as Mike’s right-hand by relieving his demanding daily operation load up-front. He's truly giving our customers some of the most knowledgeable automotive service out there, thus saving them time and money helping to resolve their repair issues. You'll see this smile everyday if you're fortunate enough to call him friend, and maybe you will... Join us in welcoming Wade to DPR!
Meet Blake Phillips-Oil Change Tech and Service Writer Administration at Delmarva Performance and Repair. Blake graduated from Delaware State University with a Bachelors in Aviation. Now, First Officer Commercial Airline Pilot, we were absolutely honored when Blake said he would be willing to take some time to help us out expanding during COVID. Willing when and where needed most, from demoing flooring, doing oil changes or offering support to our Service Writer up-front, he has handled even the most stressful and arduous of labor situations with tremendous poise (but hey, most pilots that land giant planes and are fathers of new twins would).
So humbly intelligent, extremely organized, efficient, and an incredible motivator with a dash of humor... he's always the grateful one, but we are truly thanking God for sending us Blake when He did. Lover of goat cheeses and his amazing wife Sara, be sure to welcome Blake to the family next time you see him!
Meet Kris Bell - Technician at Delmarva Performance and Repair. ...After hours, personally took it upon himself to pick up a part for a customer (who happened to be a complete stranger/college student that needed to get back to school) after we had been waiting on that part all day... paid for it with his own money just because he knew he could help, and all without us knowing... Yes, this is how we met Kris Bell. Character goes a long way at DPR and we had already observed his always positive/dedicated attitude long before we even knew he had an automotive background, built his own beetle and an amazing 16 years of experience in repairing personal aircraft/welding. Simply put, this gem literally fell right into our DPR lap and it’s been unreal watching his compassion to do every in single thing he does with perfect precision for every single customer. Undercover cat rescuer... and making his wife Brittany and family so proud, be sure to welcome Kris the next time you see him to the family!
Meet Kennedy Wilson - COO of Delmarva Performance and Repair. A rare female owner focused on Women Hospitality in the Automotive Industry , Kennedy Keenan-Wilson graduated from Delmar High School and with the support of this community, received Congressional Nominations from President Joe Biden, Congressman Mike Castle, as well as Senator Tom Carper to the United States Naval, Air Force, Merchant Marine, Coast Guard and West Point Academies. She has completed internships with the Delaware Electric Cooperative and the International Association of Fire Chiefs. Kennedy graduated as a Junior from George Mason University as a Distinguished Scholar Recipient, earning her degree in Government with a Concentration in American Politics and Minor in Communications while simultaneously being admitted into GMU's Master of Public Administration Homeland Security Program as one of their youngest candidates. "There are no words to adequately describe my gratefulness to the Lord for allowing me the opportunity to glorify Him in loving my husband, teaching my children, serving my family, while working for and with this team. Let it be for you, Lord." -Kennedy
Meet Goose, our DPR Shop Dog. We have yet to find a friend he hasn't made and you can often find him calming customers in stressful situations. When he isn’t eating Rita’s, you’ll find him being spoiled by the entire team with pizza crusts on Fridays or laying next to Troy. He's such a good boy.
When the good news about the kingdom has been preached all over the world and told to all nations, then the end will come. Matthew 24:14 Its as simple as that. It is our heart's cry to see the coming of our Lord. When our friends, and fellow mechanic said they were called to go, we wanted to send all we could with them because the Lord instructs us to do so. Please pray for their family and that the good news will bring salvation to women, men and children.
